Calhoun leads Chargers at Port Huron
PORT HURON, MI – The Ancilla Men’s Golf Team competed in the Krommer Invitational this past Friday, held at the Port Huron Elks Golf Course.
The Ancilla Men’s Team finished fifth out of 13 teams. The Chargers were led by Micah Calhoun (Fr. Plymouth) who fired a 74. Calhoun’s 74 placed him 5th and he received a medal for being in the Top 5. The Chargers also had an impressing showing from Elliott Husiar (Fr., Valparaiso) who shot a 76. This score landed him in the Top 10 overall.
“I was very happy for our men,” said Ancilla Head Coach Marc Green. “What I was most pleased with is knowing that we did extremely well, and that there is still room for improvement. I am happy for Elliott, he has worked very hard, and has improved every day since he has arrived at Ancilla.”
The Men’s team next competes on September 29-30 at the Millikin University Invitational in Decatur, Illinois.
