DONALDSON, IN – The Ancilla College Men’s Golf Team is excited to announce the signing of Plymouth Senior Micah Calhoun.
Calhoun has had an extraordinary high school golf career, going to the state finals both his junior and senior year. Micah was a four-year letter winner in golf, as well as an All-State wrestler. His impressive high school career was led by Head Coach Ben Weymouth. “I am excited for Micah to continue his golf career, especially so close to home,” says Weymouth. Calhoun is also happy to be continuing his education and golf career in the area. “It is a great opportunity for me to stay close to home so I can work at my church,” says the new Charger.
Head Golf Coach Marc Green added, “We are getting an incredible golfer—Micah is very talented and we are blessed to have him as part of our team. What separates Micah from a lot of golfers is the way he carries himself on the golf course. You can’t tell if he just birdied or double bogeyed a hole. Micah is also someone who’s very spiritual, it’s exciting to see him live out his Christian faith so visibly.”
