DONALDSON, IN – Taylor Ellison and Taylor Landes from Jefferson High School recently signed the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to continue their bowling careers at Ancilla College.

 

Ellison and Landes are both four year varsity award recipients at Jefferson where they were a part of the team that claimed a State Championship in 2014 and placed 4th at State Finals in 2016. As a bowler Ellison has a high game score of 279 and Landes has a high game score of 278. Landes was also named 2016 Conference Bowler of the Year.

 

When asked why they chose Ancilla, both ladies responded, “Coach Al really made Ancilla feel like home. He will help me be successful not only in bowling but in school as well.”

 

Ellison and Landes coaches Gerry Ness and Holly Siefers commented, “Both girls have played major roles in winning a state championship and taking our program to an elite status during their four years. Both will be missed and we wish them both the best in their futures.”

 

Taylor Ellison is the daughter of Lisa and Doug Ellison. Taylor Landes is the daughter of Charlie Landes and Karen Hardesty. While attending Ancilla, both bowlers plan to study Criminal Justice.
