Chargers bowling makes season debut in Lafayette
LAFAYETTE — Ancilla Chargers men’s and women’s bowling teams competed last weekend in its first collegiate tourney of the year at the Boilermaker Classic.
The participants included 13 women’s teams and 20 men’s teams. The women’s team finished seventh , and the men’s team finished 16th.
Ancilla head coach Al Franklin said, “We had a great tournament and held our own against some very good teams. I can’t single any one player out this time because it was truly a team effort all the way around. I’m so proud of this young team, and we will learn from this experience and get better on both sides.”
Charger bowling is back in action on Oct. 21 and 22 in Indianapolis.
