Bourbon-downtown

Roger Terry, Bourbon Street Department Superintendent told members of the Town Council that town-wide leaf pickup will begin on October 16 and be in effect until the weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday. Terry said residents should rake their leaves to the curb or place them in containers that can be dumped by town employees. He said leaf bags should not be used and piles must be free of sticks, stones and trash.

The Town of Bourbon usually has $30,000 each year to improve roads; however, receiving a Community Crossing Grant from INDOT in the amount of $306,157.50 will allow extensive repairs.
