County BuildingThe Marshall County Drainage Board meets Monday morning at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  They have a short agenda for their September meeting.

Mr. Jordan Shupp is seeking a variance on the Lemler Berger Ditch and the drainage board will discuss the Sommer’s Arm of the Bald Rogers Ditch with INDOT.

At 9:30 the County Commissioners will conduct their meeting.  The agenda includes Highway report, quotes from Sheriff Hassel for electrical repairs and upgrades, and a report by Councilman Bill Githens on the request of various departments to purchase copiers next year.

County Plan Director Ralph Booker will report on the Brownfield Grant and at 10 a.m. there are two public hearings scheduled, one amending the Marshall County Zoning Map and the other amending the Marshall County Zoning Ordinance.

Also on the commissioner’s agenda is the attorney report, auditor’s reports, commissioner items and public comments.

Both the Drainage Board and Commissioner meeting accepts comments and questions from the public.
