Gleitz began playing club lacrosse at the age of 11 in South Bend. He went on to play for Coaches Jon Posner and Andy Roth at Culver Military Academy, and Gleitz was Team Captain his senior year. During his time at Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA, he competed in Division 3 lacrosse for Coach Andy Sinclair. He was again named Team Captain his Junior and Senior years.

“We are excited about the hiring of Andrew Gleitz as a new head men’s lacrosse coach,” says Ancilla Athletic Director Gene Reese. “Andrew’s background in lacrosse is very impressive, as he comes from the highly respected Culver Military Academy program. He also served as an assistant coach at Ancilla last season.”

“I am beyond excited and grateful to be a part of the Ancilla College family,” explains Gleitz. I am looking forward to developing my players into not only exceptional athletes and students, but also outstanding members of society.”
