Highlights:

What a great game and finish for this NLC matchup between the Lady Pilgrims of Plymouth and the Redhawks from Goshen.  The Lady Pilgrims came out a little flat footed Wednesday night as the went down 0-4 through the first 2 innings, but with the a HBP on senior Mimi Southwell with the bases loaded that brought in 1 run.  Next batter was Junior first baseman Audrey Himes who hit a line drive to left center field that cleared the bases for the Lady Pilgrims, and after 3 innings the Lady Pilgrims had a 5-4 lead.  The Goshen Redhawks would later put up 5 more runs between the fourth and fifth innings and would take a lead of 6-10.  In the top of the 6th inning the Lady Pilgrims would again find their way onto the bases.  Which was lead by a leadoff double by Cassidy Holiday, while the next 5 Lady Pilgrims reached safely the would eventually bring the score 9-11.  Unfortunately, the Lady Pilgrims would fall just short as Senior Redhawks center fielder Jordan Nemeth, would make a dead out sprint, over the shoulder catch at the warning track to end the game with the bases loaded.  Leading the attack for the Lady Pilgrims was Senior Zoe Kileman as she went 3-5 on the night including 2 singles, 1 double, and 3 runs scored.  With this loss the Lady Pilgrims will fall to 4-18 on the season and 0-11 in NLC play.  The Lady Pilgrims will be back in action Friday night as they will play host to Wawasee.
