AncillaHoffmanphotoDONALDSON, IN – Britney Hoffman from Kankakee Valley High School has signed with the Charger Volleyball team.
Hoffman, a native of DeMotte, Indiana is an Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist. Under the coaching of Adair Baysinger and Greg Welch, Hoffman has had much success in her volleyball career. In 2016, she was awarded Second Team All-Conference, Academic All-Conference, Indiana North All Star Team, and Most Kills. Hoffman’s team also won Sectionals in 2015 and 2016.

During her high school career, Hoffman also played tennis for four years, was a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of the Freshman Mentor Club. She also played for the Altitude Volleyball Club of Hobart. “Britney is a terrific athlete and she is passionate about the sport of volleyball,” says Ancilla Volleyball Head Coach Jordan Weitzell. “I believe she will be a great asset to our team both on the court and in the classroom, working hard to do her best in both.”
Hoffman is the daughter of Steve and Dawn Hoffman of DeMotte, Indiana. She will be coming to Ancilla to study criminal justice in the fall.
