DispatcherIndiana State Police Regional Dispatcher, Juliet Keeling, just recently celebrated her twentieth anniversary as a dispatcher with the Indiana State Police.

Keeling began her career as a dispatcher for the Bremen Post on June 2, 1997. While at this location she dispatched for troopers in Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, and Kosciusko counties.

In February of 2011, Keeling moved to the Toll Road Post located on CR 17 in Bristol, IN.  This location serves as a regional dispatch center serving not only Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, and Kosciusko counties but also the entire length of the Toll Road.

She said that in her early days as a dispatcher much of the job was done with a pencil and paper and a small radio console.  She went on to say that today is much different with the job being done on computers with many different monitors.

During her time as a dispatcher, Keeling has served as a CTO (Communications Training Officer), and has maintained certifications in IDACS, CPR, and First Aid.

Keeling lives in Plymouth with her husband, son, and grandchildren.
