MugShot_James IrwinThursday morning Marshall County Superior Court I Judge Robert Bowen reduced the cash bond for James A. Irwin from $60,000 to $1,500 after a Bond Reduction hearing was held on Wednesday.

Irwin has been held in the Marshall County Jail since August 24th when he was arrested by members of the Marshall County Drug Task Force.   Irwin has been charged with seven counts: two counts for Dealing in a Scheduled II Controlled Substance; four counts of Promoting Prostitution;  Dealing is a Substance represented to be a Controlled Substance.

In the court order Judge Bowen ordered Irwin to report to Home Detention through the Marshall County Community Correction program.  He also ordered that Irwin not have any contact with any of the witnesses listed on the charging information.

Irwin has been placed on unpaid leave as the head of Marshall County Care and Share where it is alleged he was able to have contact with the women involved in the case.  At this time Care and Share has suspended operations until January 2018.
