Kolesiak Construction was awarded the maintenance project for the Elmer Seltenright Ditch during this week’s County Drainage Board meeting.
The maintenance project will clean and remove trees and de-brushing approximately 1400 fee of a portion of the Elmer Seltenright Ditch from 5A Road south along Michigan Road. The remains are to be burned and buried along with the brush and woody material. Repair of the bank is also included in the project with riprap or concrete in two areas.
Kolesiak Construction had the low bid at $11,357. The next bid was $18,960 and the highest bid of the 6 companies was LDP Excavating at $27,000.
