LAVILLE 40, CASTON 32 – LaVille hit five of seven fourth quarter free throws and Lindsey Aschenbrenner hit a crucial 3-point basket in the period for the victory.

Aryn Eash led all scorers with 16 points, including 12 in the second quarter, as LaVille rallied for the halftime lead.
Aschenbrenner finished with 11 points, including three 3-point baskets.
The Lancers improve to 8-8 overall and end a four-game losing streak. LaVille goes to 4-1 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference, just one game behind Winamac and North Judson.
Caston falls to 5-11 overall, 2-3 in the HNAC.
The Lancers play a crucial HNAC game Tuesday Jan. 10 against the Bluejays.
The Jan. 10 game will also be senior night for LaVille as the honor Mallory Vernon and Jessica Tuttle.
