Suffering  their first loss of the year Thursday night to Northridge, the young lady pilgrims didn’t take long to get back to their winning ways. Traveling to Warsaw for the NLC Tournament, Plymouth would leave as Champions.  Handing out defeats to Elkhart Memorial 28-16, and Warsaw 26-13.  Plymouth packed in its switching man to man defense inside the 3 point line in both games,  forcing opponents into long empty possessions.

Erin Renneker and Anna Bush lead Plymouth vs Memorial with 9 & 8 points respectively.  Audie Polthow with 5, Hannah Talaga, Abby Lee, and Olive Stanton with 2 each.  Elena Oechsner played key defensive minutes in the opening round win.

In the Championship game, Warsaw fell behind 14-4 in the first half and never caught up.  Erin Renneker had the best offensive game of her season, finishing with 15 points.  Audie Plothow had 4, Abby Lee 3, Anna Bush and Olive Stanton 2 each.  Hannah Talaga, and Elena Oechsner provided the defensive effort needed to win the Tournament.

Plymouth will finish up its season at South Bend Adams on Monday.  Lady Pilgrims stand at 18-1.
