SOUTH BEND – Plymouth’s Lady Pilgrims went out in round one of sectional action at South Bend falling to the Adams Eagles by a 10-0 final.
The Lady Pilgrims fell hard to a well played South Bend Adams team. Senior Zoe Kielman took the loss in the circle in her final outing as a Lady Pilgrim. Zoe finished the year 3-15 with a ending ERA of 8.83 in 107 innings pitched.
Senior Mackenzie Derifield led the offensive attack for the Lady Pilgrims going 2-3 at the plate with 2 singles. Other Pilgrims recording hits were Kielman, Sydnee Smith, and Cassidy Holiday. The Lady Pilgrims finished the season with a 4-24 record and will Graduate 4 Seniors this year; short stop Mackenzie Derifield, second baseman Anna Bockman, pitcher Zoe Kielman, and catcher Mimi Southwell.
The Lady Pilgrims will have a awards banquet that will be held in Centennial Park on Thursday May 25th at 6 p.m.
