DonaldCropDONALDSON, IN – Kelsey-Ryan Donald of Lewisville, Indiana has signed with the Charger Softball Team.

The Tri-High alumna comes to Ancilla as a 2nd Baseman, Catcher, and Utility Player.    She has earned 2 Varsity letters playing for Coach Bryan Peggs, and received the Mental Attitude Award in 2014 and 2017.  Donald also played travel ball for the Hoosier Heat under Coach Todd Cleek.

Ancilla Head Softball Coach Jane Zimmerman looks forward to having Donald on the team.  “I am very happy to have the chance to coach KR (Kelsey-Ryan),” Zimmerman remarks.  “She is a very personable young lady, and is very focused on what she wants.  Her love for the sport shows every time she is on the field,” she adds.  Travel ball Coach Cleek also adds that “Donald is a very coachable young lady.”

Donald, the daughter of Rita Donald and Brian Donald, expresses that “the size of the school, the location, and the amazing staff” were all factors in her decision to commit to Ancilla.  She plans on studying Exercise Science this fall.
