On Friday, January 6th the second annual Lincoln Junior High Mini Dance Marathon for Riley Hospital was held.
PHS Dance Marathon team leaders spend the day at Lincoln Junior High teaching 7th and 8th graders dance moves, all while fundraising for a great cause.
More than 100 students took part in the training and fundraising and then performed the dance they learned in front of their fellow classmates at a school-wide spirit assembly at the end of the school day.
Just over $3,000 was raised by the LJH students who took part in the mini marathon. All of the money will go toward the grand donation from the Plymouth School Corporation to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in Indianapolis.
