sobrietyThe Marshall County DUI Task Force conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint on Friday, July 28th.

The sobriety checkpoint was conducted in the 1500 block of North Oak Drive in Plymouth between 9 a.m. and midnight.  153 vehicles were stopped during the check and 195 were allowed to pass around the checkpoint.

Results show 2 drivers were arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.

Other citations issued include

1 for Driving While Suspended – Infraction

1 Seatbelt infraction

1 Child Restraint infraction

1 Failure to Register Vehicle and

6 other violations.

Marshall County DUI Task Force officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Bremen Police Department, Bourbon Police Department, and the Plymouth Police Department worked the checkpoint.
