PLYMOUTH – After a rain out Saturday at Pretty Lake Golf Club in Plymouth conference by-laws call for a shortened 9 hole tournament that was played Monday evening to decide the conference title.

Heading into the tournament there was a three-way tie for the top spot with Plymouth, Warsaw and Northridge all holding a piece of the regular season title.

Monday evening Northridge was able to break that tie winning the title in dominating fashion. Luke Morrison was Medalist from Northridge with a 37. Coach Ken Brewster was honored with coach of the year.

Final team scores were;

Northridge 160, Warsaw 166, NothWood 166, Plymouth 170, Concord 171, Wawasee 189, Goshen 193 and Elkhart Memorial 205.

Plymouth was lead in scoring by senior Grant Clady who fired a 39. Grant capped his round with an excellent tee shot on his final hole, the par 3, number 16, which lead to a 10 foot birdie putt falling. Grant’s performance earned him 2nd place overall using tie breaking procedures. His 2nd place finish earned him All-NLC honors.

Senior Micah Calhoun carded a 40, finished 7th, and was selected by the coaches ALL-NLC.

Fellow senior Hudson Yoder shot a 44, finished 21st, and was selected by the coaches Honorable Mention – ALL NLC.

Next up for Plymouth is dual with South Bend St Joe at Pretty Lake on Wednesday evening, senior night festivities begin at 5 p.m. with the match following thereafter.
