Highlights:
The Lady Pilgrims took the Northwood Panthers the distance Friday night in a NLC matchup at Centennial Park. Going into the bottom half of the 4th inning the Lady Pilgrims rattled off 3 straight doubles by Sophomore Cassidy Holiday, and Seniors Zoe Kileman and Anna Bockman. After a passed ball from catcher Grace Anglemyer, the Lady Pilgrims took a 3-2 lead. That lead would only hold up for 1 half inning as The Panthers put up 2 in the top half of the 5th inning to take back the lead 4-3. From there on out that would prove to be enough to hold off the Lady Pilgrims. In the offensive attack, Senior Zoe Kileman lead the team going 2-3 with both hits being doubles. She would also add a RBI in the contest. The Lady Pilgrims will be back on the field Monday night as the travel to Northridge to take on the Lady Raiders for a 5:30pm start time.
