Surrounded by friends, family, and the PHS athletic staff, Plymouth High School senior Nick Felke announced Wednesday in the PHS gymnasium that he will be continuing his education and basketball career this fall at DePauw University in Greencastle. Felke holds a GPA of 4.1 and is currently ranked 11 out of the 2017 PHS class of 269 students.
Over the last four years, Felke started every varsity basketball on the Pilgrims’ roster; 95 games to be exact. He was voted All-Conference in the Northern Lakes Conference for the last two years, and Honorable Mention during his sophomore year.
DePauw University is a member of the NCAA Division III and is also a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Tigers finished their 2016-17 season with an 8-10 record in the conference, and 12-14 overall record.
Nick is the son of Chris and Jennifer Felke. He plans to major in Economics at DePauw.
