The Plymouth Varsity took down all three opponents Thursday night at Pretty Lake.

Micah Calhoun carded an even par 36 taking home Medalist honors.  Micah birdied his opening hole, the par 5 #10, he played even thereafter with his only blemish, a bogey on 17.  Classmate Hudson Yoder bogeyed his opening hole and also played even the rest of the way to card a +1 score of 37.
Tonight’s three wins improve the Varsity record to 5-0 on the young season.  With several days of practice on the horizon, the Varsity is looking to sharpen some weaknesses heading into matches next Friday and Saturday.    Next Friday both squads travel to Beechwood in LaPorte to take on Marian, LaPorte, and Lowell.  Early Saturday morning the Varsity travels to the Wawasee Inv where they will face their toughest competition to date.
On the JV side, Plymouth went 2-1 on the night defeating both Adams and Triton coming up short to a very strong squad from CMA.

A bright spot on the JV side was the fine play of freshmen Nic Bagley.  Nic’s 46 tonight was his second career low this week!
The JV record improves to 3-1 on the season.  The JV is back in action this Saturday when they host the Plymouth JV Invitational at Pretty Lake with play beginning at 9am.
