PLYMOUTH – Even though Plymouth collected six hist to Caston’s four they still fell 8-4 Monday night at Bill Nixon Field.
Caston captured the lead in the first inning scoring one run when Mike Rans doubled with one out. In the bottom half the Pilgrims tied things up when Tim Tremaine singled on a 2-0 to draw Plymouth even.
Caston took the lead for good in the second pushing across three runs when Garrett Schrameyer threw a pair of wild pitch with reliever Thomas Dolan chucking one to score three Caston runs.
The Comets plated three more in the fourth.
