Marshall County Police investigated a two-vehicle head on crash on State Road 17 just north of 12th Road Monday afternoon about 2:30.
According the the news release, 20 year old Addyson Allyn of Plymouth was south bound on State Road 17 in a Ford Explorer when he crossed the center line and collided with a box truck driven by Gary Reynolds of Edwardsburg, MI.
Allyn’s vehicle sustained major damage to the front and driver’s side. He was trapped in the vehicle and the Plymouth Fire Department had an extensive extridition to get him out of the vehicle.
Addyson Allyn was air-lifted from a site just north on the accident and transported to the trauma center at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. The driver of the box truck, Gary Reynolds was not injured in the crash.
