The Red Storm Jr High golfers hosted the Urey Falcons on a blustery Monday evening at Pretty Lake Golf Club. With winds approaching 25 mph, the kids from Lincoln powered through character-building rounds with solid results. The boys team remained undefeated at 6-0 while the Falcons did not field a full girls team to compete the the Lady Red Storm. Shooting only 10 strokes over their average round at PLGC, the boys dominated with a 202-240 win.
Leading the way for the boys was Daniel Bacon with a 47, Owen Yoder with a 48, and Jake Reichard with a 49. Reichard also carded the only birdie on the night on the Par 3 3rd hole, coming just a few feet away from a hole-in-one. Medalist for the girls was Megan Kobelt of Urey with a 63. Leading the way for Lincoln’s ladies was Annastasia Hutchings with a 73.
