SOUTH BEND, Indiana (April 28, 2017) – The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand schedule, which includes the first of two Bark at the Park games of the season—a chance for fans to bring their dogs to Four Winds Field. The first weekday game is on Wednesday, May 3, followed by Star Wars Night the following evening.

All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online at SouthBendCubs.com or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.

Tuesday, May 2, Kane County Cougars, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Bark at the Park: Bring your furry friends to Four Winds Field for a night of baseball.   Owners must fill out a waiver prior to entry.
  • World Series Ring Presentation: Chicago Cubs Director of Player Development Jarod Madison will present South Bend Cubs Manager Jimmy Gonzalez, his staff, team President Joe Hart and General Manager Nick Brown with 2016 World Series Championship rings
  • Two-Dollar Tuesdays: This week, fans can enjoy $2 popcorn and foam fingers

Wednesday, May 3, Kane County Cougars, 10:35 a.m.

  • Gates open at 9:30 a.m.
  • Education Day: A field trip day for select area schools. All kids 12 and under receive a coupon for a free DQ mini Blizzard
  • Silver Slugger Day: Any adult age 55 and older can purchase a ticket for just $6

Thursday, May 4, Kane County Cougars, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at: 6 p.m.
  • Star Wars Night: Come dressed as your favorite characters and bid on game-worn Star Wars jerseys. Proceeds to benefit South Bend Cubs charities. Special appearances by The Northern Darkness Garrison: 501st Legion.
  • Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 domestic 16-ounce draft beer and regular 22-ounce fountain sodas all game long

Friday, May 5, Clinton LumberKings, 7:35 p.m.

  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Cinco de Mayo: Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a pre-game performance and other specials around Four Winds Field
  • Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our Stu and Swoop’s Reading Program to Four Winds Field
  • Strike Out Stroke Night: Information throughout the game to increase awareness of the signs of a stroke, how to help save lives and how to reduce the effects of stroke
  • Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game.

Saturday, May 6, Clinton LumberKings, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.
  • Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our Stu and S Swoop’s Reading Program to Four Winds Field
  • Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV

Sunday, May 7Clinton LumberKings, 2:05 pm

  • Gates open at noon
  • Mother’s Day Celebration: First 500 mothers receive a pink carnation and all moms in attendance will have a chance to win more prizes throughout the game
  • Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our Stu and Swoop’s Reading Program to Four Winds Field
  • Sunday Funday: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session

As a reminder, the gates open two hours prior to the first pitch for all FridaySaturday and Sunday games throughout the season. The 1st Source Bank Performance Center will be open during home games for all ticket holders.
