A Plymouth man was arrested Tuesday evening after city officers were dispatched to the Mayflower Bar on West Jefferson Street for a subject cutting a padlock off the basement access on the side of the business.
When Officer Jeremy Enyart arrived on the scene he found 43 year old Adan Vargas in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked in front of the business.
During an investigation it was discovered that Vargas was on home detention through Starke County. He also had an active warrant for his arrest through LaPorte County.
Mr. Vargas was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Residential Entry and held on a $3,000 cash bond. He is also being held for the warrant through LaPorte County.
