Embezzlement20 year old Halie Marie Zimmerman of Bourbon was arrested on a warrant Tuesday, April 25th by Plymouth Police Officer Shanna Gilmer.

Ms. Zimmerman was wanted on a warrant for theft and forgery.  The warrant comes from initial internal investigation at Martin’s Super Market where their security revealed Halie Zimmerman hand embezzled approximately $30,471.59 between June 7, 2016 and November 28, 2016.

The investigation showed Halie had falsified returns and meat coupons to steal money from Martins.

On April 5th Zimmerman came to the Plymouth Police Department and spoke to Detective Leo Mangus.  She admitted she had taken the money and said she carried it out of the store in her apron pocket.  She told the detective she didn’t believe she stole the amount the Martin’s investigation revealed although she was unsure how much she had taken.

Zimmerman was booked into the Marshall County Jail for one count of Theft a level 6 felony and count II Forgery a level 6 felony with a cash bond of $35,000.
