A Community Listening Forum on Addiction & Recovery

May 15, 2018

Seeing a need to help address the substance misuse that has our community in its clutches, Marshall County Community Corrections is sponsoring “An Evening of Hope” featuring Tim Ryan.

Nationally Acclaimed Addiction Expert and Recovery Advocate Tim Ryan will be in Plymouth on May 22, 2018 at 6:00pm in the Plymouth High School Auditorium to deliver hope for those battling addictions and to support friends and families who are struggling with the grasp drugs have on their loved ones.

A tireless advocate for long-term recovery, Tim Ryan is no stranger to addiction – including heroin, cocaine, and alcohol. Despite a successful business career, Tim found himself in the grips of heroin and, ultimately was sentenced to seven years in prison for a number of drug-related convictions. Tim got clean and sober behind bars and was released in just 14 months.

Tim’s message is inspiring since he has walked the journey of addiction and recovery. He spreads the hope and tools to those that need them most. Tim has been blessed with the gift of sobriety and his personal mission is to promote awareness of the life threatening effects of opiate addiction, especially Heroin.

Those attending will also have the opportunity to hear fellow community members who have been impacted by addiction. You will also have the benefit to meet with neighboring treatment providers about local resources available in Marshall and surrounding Counties for those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction.

Please join us on May 22, 2018 at 6:00pm in the Plymouth High School Auditorium for a FREE event of “An Evening of Hope”.
