Gary Felix Arrested in Northgate Trailer Park

arrested_handcuffsA Plymouth man was arrested after he resisted police multiple times.

Tuesday morning about 3, Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper went to take 29 year old Gary Felix into custody on an outstanding felony warrant out of St. Joseph County.

The incident started that morning behind 1911 North Michigan Street.  Mr. Felix resisted when Officer Stamper attempted to take him into custody; he pull out of the officer’s grasp and ran into the Northgate Trailer Park.  Officer Stamper pursued on foot and caught up to Mr. Felix and tackled him. He again fled on foot and the officer pursued.  He observed Gary Felix go into a trailer and waited for other officers to arrive on scene.

Plymouth Police made entry into the trailer and found Felix hiding behind a bedroom door.  Mr. Felix again resisted being taken into custody, but officers got him handcuffed and transported him to the Marshall County Jail.  Mr. Felix was booked for resisting law enforcement and on the outstanding warrant through St. Joseph County.
