Meet the Fokers July 29th in Argos

Foker Stone masonAn unsung treasure in Marshall County is the wonderful art of early 20th century stonemason and Argos resident William Lake Foker, who built a number of porches, chimneys, fireplaces and even a few buildings in the county and especially Argos.

The artistry of Foker’s cut and uncut stone creations will be featured on Sunday, July 29th with tours starting at 2, 2:30 and 3 and beginning and ending at the Argos Community Park.

Tickets for the Foker Tour are $10 or $20 per family and are available at the Marshall County Museum in downtown Plymouth, at the Argos Public Library or on the day of the tour.

Come take a 90-minute open-air tram ride and learn about another hidden treasure that makes Marshall County a great place to live!
