Bremen Police Arrest 3 over Weekend

Bremen_Police_black SUVBremen Police made three arrests over the weekend.

On Friday, August 31st just after 8 p.m. Bremen Officer Troy Ulch arrested a Chicago man for Possession of Marijuana.  55 year old William Ralph Mote was stopped at US 6 and State Road 106 E. and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

Friday night about 11:45 a citizen’s complaint sent Bremen Police to the alley-way behind 401 E. South Street.  Officer Ulch arrested 20 year old Keil J. Martin of Nappanee for Operating While Intoxicated and Minor Consuming.

Sunday morning about 2:30 Bremen Officer Trent Stouder arrested 38 year old Jessie R. Plew of Wyatt following a traffic stop.  Plew was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for a Habitual Traffic Violator, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Identity Deception and Possession of Paraphernalia.


Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
