The Rupel Family was presented with a Marshall County Centennial Farm Award this week by Marshall County Historical Society Board member, Allen Shockney.
The 80-acre Rupel Farm, located at 2532 Sage Road in Walkerton has been a occupied since 1891 by a member of the Rupel family!
There are 23 Centennial Farms in Marshall County to date. To apply for the award, the farm needs to be in the same family for 100 years or more. For more information call 574-936-2306.
