Drug ArrestsOn Friday, November 23rd, about 8:45 in the evening, Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a gray 2005 Pontiac passenger car in the area of US 31 and 14C Road.

During the investigation, Officer Wozniak utilized his canine partner Irok around the exterior of the vehicle for a free air sniff. The canine alerted and officers searched the vehicle, locating 4 baggies with a small amount of methamphetamine, 2 baggies with a small amount of heroin, a syringe, methamphetamine pipe and other paraphernalia items.

MugShot_jack bocookThe driver of the vehicle, 34 year old Jack A. Bocook of Claypool was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Paraphernalia.

MugShot_arthur martinA backseat passenger gave a false name and date of birth at the scene. 31 year old Arthur C. Martin also of Claypool was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia and False Informing.  Arthur Martin was also found to have an active felony warrant out of Kosciusko County.
