The New Song Church is pleased to announce it is hosting “A Patriotic Concert” presented by the Marshall County Church Orchestra on Thursday evening, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. Attending this concert will be a perfect beginning to your Memorial Day weekend. The New Song church is located at 1229 Baker Street, Plymouth.
The Marshall County Church Orchestra is under the directions of Donald Harness of Plymouth. The all volunteer orchestra is made up of musicians of all ages 13 to 93, all skill levels and is inter-denominational. The orchestra rehearses on Thursday evenings at the R.E.M.C. building south of Plymouth.
The Patriotic concert will include instrumental marches and hymns, vocals, and narration. Guest vocalists include Jim Davis, Laura Stutzman and Don Harness. Narrators are Steve Barry and Cindy Flagg.
“A Patriotic Concert” is the first concert in the MCCO’s 2018 season. They will also appear at: The Yellow River Festival, The Plymouth Farmer’s Market, The Argos Summer Festival, The Well @ Plymouth First United Methodist Church, The Marshall County 4-H Fair, The culver Farmer’s Market, The Blueberry Festival, The Knight’s of Columbus Hall, Hamlet Methodist Church, and The Tyner Christmas gathering.
