Ancilla stays unbeaten in MCCAA play
KALAMAZOO, MI – Jair Rodgers scored 20 points and Ty’Sean Sheppard added 10 as the Ancilla College men’s basketball team defeated Kalamazoo Valley CC 83-47 Wednesday in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association match-up.
The Chargers (13-1, 3-0) also got 13 points and 13 rebounds from sophomore DK Fox. Ancilla had a 39-19 advantage at halftime.
Kalamazoo falls to 4-11 and 1-2.
Ancilla hosts Mid-Michigan at 3 p.m Saturday at the LifePlex in Plymouth.
The Ancilla College women’s basketball team claimed a 2-0 win by forfeit over Kalamazoo Valley Wednesday night. Ancilla improves to 13-1 and 3-0 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association. The Lady Chargers host Mid-Michigan at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the LifePlex in Plymouth.
