arrestsMarshall County Police arrest two following a traffic stop Friday night November 16th on 9A Road. 

Just before 9 PM, Marshall County Patrolman Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a gray 2012 Nissan pickup truck in the area of 9A Road and Richter Road.  The vehicle did not stop, but slowly continued to the parking lot of Ace Fitness in Plymouth.

MugShot_roberto fonsecaThe driver of the vehicle, 27 year old Roberto L. Fonseca of West Madison Street in Plymouth, was found to be driving without ever receiving a driver`s license.

MugShot_Lourdes cerrato-sevillaThe front seat passenger, 47 year old Lourdes Cerrato-Sevilla of the same Plymouth address, appeared very nervous and remained in the vehicle. Officer Wozniak utilized his canine partner and walked around the exterior of the pickup truck for a free air sniff.  The canine alerted to the odor of narcotics and as Officer Wozniak approached the passenger side of the vehicle, he noticed Cerrato-Sevilla throwing small items out of the open window.

She was removed from the vehicle and the items being thrown from the vehicle were small clear baggies, which contained a white powdery substance that later tested positive for cocaine.

Roberto was taken to the jail and processed for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a driver`s license and possession of cocaine. Lourdes was taken to the jail and processed for possession of cocaine and obstruction of justice.
