Chad Smith Arrested Domestic Battery, Animal Cruelty & Resisting Law Enforcement

MugShot_Chad SmithAbout 11:40 Saturday night, May 13th, Marshall County Deputies were dispatched to Sheryl Court for an argument between family members.

Once on scene Officer Smith and Officer Ayala conducted an investigation.  Following the investigation 44 year old Chad Smith of Plymouth was arrested for Domestic Battery in front of a minor, Animal Cruelty, and Resisting Law Enforcement.

Smith became extremely uncooperative several times during the investigation, he was lodged in the Marshall County Jail with a cash bond of $3,005.

 

 


Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
