Beginning February 1, the Town of Culver will begin requiring building permits for reroofing projects and installation of solar energy systems that take place in town limits or the town’s two-mile extra-territorial planning and zoning jurisdiction.
Fees have been set at $75 for roof replacements with no structural change, and $50 for micro solar energy systems, $100 for medium systems, and $150 for large systems as defined by the town’s zoning ordinance.
Permits can be applied for online at https://permits.schneidercorp.com/, or in Town Hall by appointment, or at the County Building in Plymouth from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
