Culver School referendum 11-6-18The Culver Community School Corporation was successful on their referendum that will establish a tax levy with a tax rate not to exceed $.17 per one hundred dollars of assessed value for the next 8 years.

The additional funds will be used for funding academic and educationally-related programs, increasing student opportunities and student safety as well and managing class size and attracting and retaining teachers.

The referendum was on the ballot in the four counties that feed into the Culver Community School Corporation.

The two precincts in Culver voted 750 YES and 500 NO. In Starke County the North Bend Township voters voted 273 YES and 185 NO.   Fulton county voters in Aubbeenaubbee Township voted 208 YES and 185 NO while voters in Tippecanoe Township in Pulaski County voted against the referendum with 170 NO votes and 139 YES votes.

The totals were 1,370 YES votes and 874 NO votes.
