ARGOS – The 1978-79 class at Argos may have been the best ever in Marshall Co athletically, and for sure with Argos.
The boys won the 1978 State Soccer Championship with a 5-2 win over Carmel HS. Then in the winter they became the smallest school since Milan to advance to the One-Class Final Four in basketball, while in the middle of 76 consecutive regular season wins–still a state record.
We are hosting both teams at Argos on Jan 4, 2019 with the game against Bethany. There will be a reception for the teams in the library at 6 pm, and recognition at the halftime of the varsity basketball game.
