Culver LibraryThe Culver-Union Township Public Library is a local history partner of the Indiana Historical Society. During 2018, patrons of the Culver Library can check out a pass, which allows free admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children per visit, to the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in downtown Indianapolis. Each pass also includes café and shopping discounts, and FREE parking.

The Indiana Experience at the Indiana History Center is a great way to experience history. The three-dimensional re-creations of historic photographs complete with characters come to life in “You Are There” exhibit, the latest technology takes you back in time on virtual journeys throughout the state in “Destination Indiana,” and you can immerse yourself in the music of a Hoosier legend in the Cole Porter Room. And for the kids, the best part may be learning about conservation during the hands-on experience in the History Lab.

The Culver-Union Township Public Library passes check out with your Library Card for one week durations. For more information contact Local History & Genealogy Librarian Janet Winrotte at 574-842-2941 or jwinrotte@culver.lib.in.us.
