‘Swiss Genealogy’ will be held at the Culver-Union Township Public Library on Saturday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. Genealogist Monty Peden will talk about Swiss records and research strategies; he will include information on Anabaptist, Amish and Mennonites from Switzerland. Some common Swiss and Pennsylvania German ‘Deutsch’ names are Amstutz, Baumgartner, Burkhalter, Burki, Gerber, Hochestetler, Lehman, Moser, Neuenschwander, Nussbaum, Steiner, Stutzman, Wenger, and Yoder.
