Marshall County Tourism will award $40,000 in 2019 to support local events and marketing efforts to entice visitors through grant programs. Marshall County Tourism will award non-matching grants up to $2000 through two grant programs, the Tourism Enhancement and Development (TED) Events Grant and Marketing Grant.
The TED Grant has been established to support events taking place in Marshall County that attract visitors. $30,000 will be awarded on an annual basis. The TED Events Grant are offered once a year. The grant can be used for such things as advertising, printing and promotional expenses that bring visitors to Marshall County and encourage overnight stays. The Marketing Grant Application has been established to support marketing projects that utilize marketing tools to attract visitors from outside of Marshall County to experience a Marshall County community, a special aspect of Marshall County etc. These criteria are not date specific. $10,000.00 will be awarded on an annual basis.
