On Wednesday, May 2nd, Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to the Kroger parking lot on North Michigan Street for a welfare check on a female who had been sleeping in her vehicle for an extended period of time.
Making contact with the female, identified at 28 year old Megan E. Burkett of Argos, Officer Miller observed a hypodermic needle on the seat between her legs as they were speaking.
After a short investigation, Megan Burkett was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Heroin and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.
