Mary Dolph’s third-grade class spearheaded the project by making advertisement posters to spread the news. Her students were busy early last week hanging their handmade signs throughout the Menominee hallways.

On Friday donated items were placed under the school’s Christmas tree, and students who brought in monetary donations or an actual donation item(s) got to add their name to a paw print ornament that hangs on the tree. In total students collected $368 in cash donations and 150 donated items.
