Senator Ryan Mishler (R-Bremen) has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to chair the Senate Committee on Appropriations for the 121st Indiana General Assembly.
“I am proud to continue serving as head of this committee,” Mishler said. “As chair, I have the responsibility of spearheading the Senate’s efforts to craft our state’s next biennial budget this session, and I will work with my fellow members to ensure we pass a budget that funds our priorities but ensures we live within our means.”
Mishler will also serve as a member of the Senate Committees on Health and Provider Services; and Tax and Fiscal Policy.

The 2019 legislative session ceremonially began Tuesday, Nov. 20, with Organization Day. Legislators will reconvene Jan. 3 and, by law, must conclude the legislative session no later than April 29.
