MugShot_Israel Vazgues-MorenoMarshall County Police arrested a Niles man for a felony Operating While Intoxicated and Neglect of a Dependent last Saturday. 

About 7 o’clock in the evening the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call of a possibly impaired driver on US 31. 

Marshall County Officer Wozniak located the suspected impaired driver in a silver 2015 GMC Sierra at US 31 and State Road 10.  He initiated a traffic stop for moving violations and found the driver, 37 year old Israel Vazquez Moreno of Niles to be operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content more than two times the legal limit. 

Moreno also had his 12 year old daughter in the vehicle at the time of the incident. 

He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and processed for Operating While Intoxicated with a minor passenger and Neglect of a Dependent.
