Osasis_1Oasis Lifestyle, LLC, is expanding for the second time in four years (the first time under the business named Composite Technology Assemblies). Oasis, a leader in the fiberglass tub and shower industry will be investing $1.9 million to improve production capacity. The capital investment will include two building expansion projects, at an estimated $1.8 million, and over $134,000 in new equipment.

This expansion is supported by a 7-year phase in, real and personal property tax abatement. The abatement was approved by the Plymouth City Council following a public hearing on April 9th. This hearing was the second step in the tax abatement process. The first step took place on March 26th when the Council passed a resolution designating the facility as an economic revitalization area.

Osasis_2The expansion includes 22,500 square feet of warehousing and four additional dock doors added to the existing Plymouth facility to improve product distribution and customer service. Oasis is also adding a 7,000 square foot in-fill between two existing buildings for additional production capacity. This is the second tax abatement for the Plymouth company, which purchased a new building and equipment in a $1.2 million expansion in 2014 under the name Composite Technology Assemblies.

Oasis manufactures a wide range of commercial bathroom products including showers, bathtubs, shower bases, therapy tubs, and a variety of accessories. The company began in 2007 and located to 1400 Pidco Drive in Plymouth in 2009. Since then, Oasis has become one of the community’s largest employers with over 240 employees. This expansion will aid in current employee retention and grow the local economy.
