On Sunday, May 20, at 3 p.m. Plymouth High School will hold its annual Academic Hall of Fame ceremony in the Studio Theatre at PHS. Eighteen various departments will induct 13 soon-to-be graduating seniors into the Plymouth High School Academic Hall of Fame.
This year marks the 32nd year of the Academic Hall of Fame ceremony, which began with the class of 1986. Recipients of this award must have taken classes in the respective department for a minimum of six semesters and have a minimum of an “A” average.
During the ceremony, each student will be awarded an Academic Hall of Fame medallion. In addition, each recipient‘s picture will soon be featured on an individual 2017-2018 Academic Hall of Fameplaque, which will be on permanent display at Plymouth High School.
Prior to the actual Academic Hall of Fame ceremony, inductees, their families, and Plymouth High School staff members are welcome to gather in the Plymouth High School cafeteria for refreshments and a small celebration starting at 2:15 p.m.
Names of those who are inducted will be announced after the Academic Hall of Fame ceremony on Sunday.
